The Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP) as the autonomous group market operator of the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), gives notice that the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has notified IEMOP that it shall deregister Mactan Economic Zone 1 facility from its portfolio. PEZA remains to be a registered WESM Member as it has other WESM-registered facility.
IEMOP has confirmed the deregistration of the Mactan Economic Zone 1 facility to be effective on 11 August 2020. This notice is being issued pursuant to WESM Rules clause 2.6.3.
