[INTERNAL] IEMOP CSR Program: OPLAN e-SKWELA

ABOUT THE PROJECT

As the Philippines shifts to a new normal, educational institutions are mandated to implement new learning methods in the form of blended and distance/online learning. In effect, students from across the country will need to adapt to these changes in order to continue advancing in their studies.

Pursuant to IEMOP’s role in nation-building, the company launches OPLAN e-SKWELA: a CSR initiative geared to empower the next generation of industry leaders by enabling access to quality education amid the COVID-19 pandemic. As such and in line with its company policies, IEMOP will be segregating its used company laptops no longer serviceable to its market operations by donating them to students from marginalized communities who have limited access to technology for their online-learning activities.

To further amplify the result of this initiative, IEMOP would like to seek the support of its employees to contribute in this effort by donating new or used gadgets such as laptops, desktops, tablets, and smartphones as well as by helping raise funds to purchase essential gadget accessories that will be beneficial for many aspiring students—the country’s hope for a brighter future.

With your support, the IEMOP OPLAN e-SKWELA project will be able to help at least fifty (50) young dreamers to pursue their studies for the school year 2020-2021 and beyond.

*The OPLAN e-SKWELA donation drive will run from 17 August 2020 – 18 September 2020.
