In line with our target to commercially operate the WESM using the New Market Management System (NMMS) by end of this year, we would like to invite your group’s participation to Fast Forward to Five: EWDO Full Parallel Operations Program (FPOP) which we intend to commence on 26 June 2020.
To jumpstart this process, we shall be conducting a focus group discussion (FGD) via Zoom Online Meeting with your trading team on 24 June 2020 at 9:00 am to 11:30 am (for Luzon and Visayas), and at 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm (for Mindanao) to discuss the activities, targets, and schedule of the POP. Subsequently, we shall be providing your trading team with regular guidelines on your activities and participation reports.
This final leg of our POP will be focused on fully testing the market participant interface with the MO and SO systems in order to fine-tune and evaluate necessary enhancements on the processes of scheduling, dispatch, pricing, and settlement in a 5-minute dispatch interval environment for the final readiness certification of our Go Live target by 26 December 2020.
