In the statement issued to all energy industry participants, Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi together with the electric power participants represented by Philippine Electricity Market Board Chairman Noel V. Aboboto, re-affirmed the transition and establishment of the Independent Market Operator (IMO) pursuant to Section 30 of the EPIRA law. Moreover, it was emphasized that the joint endorsement by the DOE and electric power participants has been duly executed and complied with, accordingly.
